Music Video Roundup!

1.) “Into You” – Ariana Grande

I’m sure you’re already aware of my Ariana obsession and this video is everything I wanted for this song. Neon romantic passion at a cliché motel (appropriately titled Honeymoon Inn.) Grande seductively whips her hair around a desert in short shorts while a beautiful storyline takes flight. Bike rides, lots of kissing, and pink hued sunsets make this video one of her best to date.

2.) “Raging” and “I’m In Love” – Kygo

Kygo recently released a two-part storyline for his two songs, “Raging” and “I’m In Love.” It shows a couple on an adventurous journey, not only physically, but mentally. In “Raging” they seem to lose eachother and can’t find their way back until the end. “I’m In Love” has a simple message that the couple illustrates through subtle movement throughout what looks to be different backdrops in Paris, France. Kygo pulls at your inner emotion through not only his music but his vision for his music.

3.) “Can’t Stop the Feeling” – Justin Timberlake

JT brings us our next summer jam showcasing every walk of life getting down to his new song. Waitresses, barbers, salesmen, truckers, grocery store workers…etc. “Can’t Stop the Feeling” is exactly that, a good feeling you just can’t stop. The truth is, Justin Timberlake can do NO WRONG.

4.) “Send My Love ( To Your New Lover)” – Adele

Adele gets artsy in this one. The singer looks glorious in a floral Dolce & Gabbana gown with wispy pieces of hair lining her rosy cheeks as she dances and moves around to the bouncy track. The video layers dancing Adele’s on top of more dancing Adele’s producing a repetitive hypnotizing look, something we don’t often see from the singer.

Adele has mastered the art of love in its purest form. A piano and vocals are all she needs. Her voice carries a story so captivating your heart bleeds as if it’s her own, as if you ache with her. “If this is my last night with you, hold me like I’m more than just a friend,” she beautifully pleads in the chorus of “All I Ask” off her enchantingly pure album, 25. Adele challenges the question of true love with the honest question “What if I never love again?” Something so daunting and terrifying that every human can relate to. Her voice builds higher and higher as the song trudges on, further proving her impeccable vocal skills and her emotional ties to every ounce of her music.

“Hello, it’s me, I was wondering if after all these years you’d like to meet, to go over everything. they say that time’s supposed to heal ya, but I ain’t done much healing.” Oh Adele, honey… These lyrics are killing me! Adele is back and she means business. Releasing her single “Hello”, and the music video for it all at once only left the human population in desperate need of more. Good thing she announced the name and release date of her new album; 25, Nov. 20. This ballad slowly builds into an intense chorus where she sings, “Hello from the other side, I must’ve called a thousand times…” The sepia-toned music video follows Adele through what looks to be an abandoned house as she shakes off the dust of what once was a blossoming relationship then somehow fell apart (shout out to the hunky Tristan Wilds). Adele’s cries to her lover cut to the core yet somehow make you hit the replay button. reports that “Hello” already sold 450,000 in it’s first two days of being released. It could end up being the largest ever U.S. digital sales week for a song. Cheers to Adele, she is back!
