My Vinyl Collection!

Over the past couple of years I’ve been picking up some vinyl records! Ever since my roommate bought me a pink floral record player, I’ve found the itch to start curating my own collection. Buying records is trendier than ever, but I think it’s a great way to remember an album that feels special to you and to treasure it in a unique way.

Here’s a full list of the vinyl records I own:

Kacey Musgraves – Golden Hour:  One of my favorite albums of all time. Flawless start to finish. “Golden Hour” sounds extra pretty on vinyl.

SZA – CTRL:  Obsessed with this album and always will be. I could listen to it forever.

Paramore – After Laughter:  A huge comeback for Paramore that I had to own in my collection.

Amy Winehouse – Back to Black:  The only Amy album I care about is this one. Always a good one to cook and clean to.

Fleetwood Mac – Rumours:  Got this one from my dad’s collection. Been in love with it ever since. I grew up listening to these historic songs.

Bohemian Rhapsody (official movie soundtrack):  Loved this new movie so much, my boyfriend and I had to grab this vinyl.

The 1975 – A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships:  A gorgeous album that I will never recover from. “Be My Mistake” was made for vinyl.

mansionz – Mansionz:  One of my favorite duo albums – so many intricate and unique melodies on this.

The Best of the Beach Boys:  Grabbed this one from my dad’s collection – it’s pretty amazing.

Chicago (Live):  Found this at an old bookstore and love the live sound of every song.

Barbra Streisand – Je m’appelle Barbra:  Picked this up at an old bookstore and found it mesmerizing to zone out to on a rainy day.

Bob Segar and the Silver Bullet Band – Stranger In Town:  One of my dad’s that I had to include in my collection. He loves Bob Segar.

Hall and Oates – Private Eyes:  Another one from the dad collection, I just find Hall and Oates so funny and entertaining. A fantastic duo.

Banks – The Altar:  One of my favorite albums of all time and one that I really connected to when it was released. Listen to “Mother Earth” and “Lovesick”.
